During the summer time, between July and October, are celebrated the Verbenas. All over the city, specially in its traditional barrios (quarters), summer life and joy are celebrated. Each quarter organizes popular dancing, competitions, among other activities. The more important Verbenas are: Santa Marta, Salto del Agua, Leganitos, Divina Pastora, Plaza de Toros and Miraflores.
