Later, during the discoveries Age and the emigration cycles to the USA, people from Toledo left their land in pursuit of their dreams. Nowadays several Toledos can be found worldwide, mainly in USA and in Brazil. Probably, it was the emigrants from Toledo who named those cities, still feeling in love with their city.
But the original is always better than the imitations. So, the Spanish Toledo is, for sure, the perfect place to host your events, surrounded by history, tradition, nature and so much more…

Marbella: Sevillanas

The sevillanas are the traditional folk-song and dance of the festivities in the Andalusia region. Today, it is the most popular dance of Andalusia, it is even danced in discotheques.
Sevillanas music is very light and happy, its lyrics are very rich. Country life, virgins, towns, pilgrimage and love are the main themes of inspiration.
Sevillanas are danced in southern Spain for centuries… They were first danced in neighbours’ houses and in patios. Nowadays they are danced worldwide in discotheques, professional schools, festivities…
This vivid dance dates from the moorish period in Spain. Maybe were the belly dancers the ones to inspire the sevillanas.

The “gatos” (cats) as the Madrileños are known locally don’t stick to one place. They go from bar to bar, disco to disco, until they have it for the night. But it is all in the name of having a good time!!!
